Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists take to the stage

Back in May 2020, Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists were about to go on tour with their new show Till We Win. The dates planned at Bournemouth Emerging Arts Festival, Brighton Fringe and Birmingham Rep’s festival For/With/By were of course rescheduled. Our young artists didn’t let the pandemic stop them: they kept busy by creating a digital piece called This Town Of Ours, taking part in Connecting Communities and continuing to develop Till We Win. They are now ready to take to the stage again.

New show dates for Till We Win

Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists are really excited to be performing at two different venues this year. On Tuesday the 27th of July, they will be at Birmingham Rep’s For/With/By, a youth theatre festival for 16 to 18 year olds. The pass to the event covers lunches and includes access to workshops, a symposium, social events and performances.

Following this, Till We Win will return to our home and one of Extraordinary Bodies’ key touring partners Lighthouse Poole on Saturday 18th of September. Tickets for this event are open to everybody. They will be performing in the afternoon before Extraordinary Bodies’ evening show Human. Why not find out more about Human and book tickets for a double-show day?

Live performance is what we do best. We’ve had a busy year working together digitally, making beautiful audio with Harry Bassett and spectacular animation with Biggerhouse film. All of this work has made our live performance even stronger. Extraordinary Bodies Young Artists have explored new ways to tell our stories and added new layers to the shows aesthetic. We are totally ready with a show that is anarchic, joyous and real. We have truly missed our community and can’t wait to get back in the theatre again – to share our stories with you and to take our rightful place again, centre stage.
